Jan. 9: Trump hosted rally.

Jan. 14: Trump hosted rally.

Jan. 18-19: Trump played golf (West Palm Beach, Fla.).

Jan. 20: First confirmed case of covid-19.

Jan. 22: Trump said, “We have it totally under control” when asked about the virus spreading.

Jan. 28: Trump hosted rally.

Jan. 30: Trump hosted rally.

Jan. 31: Trump implemented China travel restrictions (seven covid-19 cases in U.S.).

Feb. 1: Trump played golf (West Palm Beach)

Feb. 4: 11 confirmed cases in the U.S.

Feb. 5: Senate acquitted Trump.

Feb. 10: Trump hosted rally.

Feb. 15: Trump played golf (West Palm Beach).

Feb. 19-21: Trump hosted rallies.

Feb. 25: CDC official Nancy Messonnier warned that a coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. was inevitable.

March 6: Trump said the coronavirus “came out of nowhere.”

March 7-8: Trump played golf (West Palm Beach).

March 11: WHO declared covid-19 a pandemic

March 16: White House released social distancing guidelines.

March 17: Trump made change from previous statements and said, “This is a pandemic. I felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic.”

March 31: At press briefing, Trump said the impeachment “probably” took up some of his attention but later insisted that he wouldn’t have acted differently in response to the coronavirus.
