Putin’s propaganda about his invasion of Ukraine is being repeated by American politicians. Putin is thrilled his war is being described as an unnecessary waste of Ukrainian lives and needless destruction of Ukrainian cities, and that Ukrainian President Zelenskyy is portrayed as a beggar.

Our Revolutionary war lasted six years, from 1776-82. Benjamin Franklin was in France begging for help. King George’s propaganda was the same as Putin’s. Some American politicians were clamoring for a negotiated surrender of America to end the war. We lost almost every major battle of that war before we defeated the British with the help of France.

There will be a clear choice in the upcoming election. Do we support Putin and his friends (China, North Korea and Iran), or support Ukraine’s fight for freedom alongside NATO, Japan and others? It is becoming clearer each day that a vote for Donald Trump is a vote for Putin’s world. The only way the war can be ended in a day is by our withdrawal of support for Ukraine, and our military switching sides to fight alongside Russia. The Ukrainians will never stop the fight for their freedom, nor would we.
