On Kilmar Abrego Garcia, President Trump is lying on the facts and wrong on the law.
The Supreme Court ordered Trump to return Abrego Garcia and make sure that each deportee gets his day in court, as is our law. America does not deport people to prison without a hearing.
When a tyrant rules that the law is whatever he says it is, we have crossed the line into authoritarianism. Although the MAGA crowd seems to prefer a dictator, our Constitution does not.
Abrego Garcia is clearly a test, not a mistake. A test of their power to do this to anyone. If Trump decides you are to rot in a foreign prison, then that is his right. And you? You have no rights.
We deserve a president under our Constitution, not a dictator beholden to Vladimir Putin. Republicans need to fix this, as this country belongs to all of us. Call Sen. Dave McCormick and demand that he impeach this lawless tyrant.
