I’m watching the news about all of these protest marchers around the country, and I assume these people believe they are doing something important. I doubt they are. But it’s not too late.

If anyone would really like to offset the hate in our world, here’s how you do it: Add a little love of your own. Visit an elderly or ill neighbor. Forgive someone you’ve been angry at. Call them and reestablish your friendship. Make a donation to a local charity. Better yet, volunteer at some local charity or church event.

Do something that helps someone else, something you wouldn’t have done otherwise. Do it for George Floyd. Then do it again to offset hatred. Then do it again for world peace.

If you’re lucky, it will become a habit. And you’re going to love it!
