Enough is enough. It should have been, when it first happened, one time. But here we are again. Another innocent Black man, Tyre Nichols, brutally and viciously beaten to death, seemingly just because the police officers wanted to.

“Just talking” has to end now. Black people have not gotten their “just due” that way. Why are we here again after so many before Nichols?

Black people deserve attention to the real issue: Is being Black a death sentence?

Bad seeds in authority in any position need to be weeded out and replaced with decent and compassionate people. We as a society owe it to all human beings, but especially to our Black brothers and sisters. We have failed them from the very beginning.

Time heals wounds and heartache only if we push for justice and change for everyone, now.
