Letter to the editor: America already intimidated

The Aug. 27 front-page headline “ ‘AMERICA WILL NOT BE INTIMIDATED’ ” was nauseating. President Biden said America will not be intimidated. A statement from the weakest, most incoherent president in my lifetime.

We’ve already been intimidated because of Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal. Thirteen U.S. military service members lost their lives due to his incompetence.

Biden seems to be trusting the Taliban, a terrorist organization that now possesses all our weapons that were left behind. Removing military forces before evacuating American citizens and others wouldn’t make sense to a third grader, but Biden thought it was a good idea.

President Trump was accused of telling 20,000 lies. (Who counted them?) I think Biden lies in every speech he delivers, often by saying the opposite of statements made by members of his administration.

As I see the collapse of our country due to the decisions and policies of our weak liberal president, I daily console myself by remembering that somehow God is in control.
