Don’t be fooled by the president and politicians touting the great drug reform act. Yes, it’s great that insulin is now cheaper, but only for the 20% of the population on Medicare. And not all of that 20% uses insulin.

The bill only allows the government to negotiate with Big Pharma for lower prices. Negotiate? Big Pharma is not locked into any price control by the bill. But what about the other 80% of us who still have to pay these exorbitant prices? Open market? I don’t think so.

Our nation pays the highest price for drugs in the world. As for research, we still pay the most. The president and Congress can do something about this but refuse.

Make regulations to bring down these high prices. Not government control, but control fair pricing. Big Pharma will still make billions even with lowering all prices.

Don’t forget, insulin is not the only overpriced drug on the market. People die every day because they can’t afford these drugs.

Congress and President Biden, pass a real drug reform bill that helps every U.S. citizen. And then you can tell me what a great job you’re doing to help us.
