The names folks who desire to destroy America use to describe those of us who disagree with them are not fit to print, so I’ll be considerate and refer to them as dipwads.

Once upon a time, I registered as a Republican because I felt the Republicans were more in line with my beliefs for continuing the American dream. Not true any longer.

Democrats and Republicans who reject the direction left-wing progressives are taking America in are being disenfranchised by their political party members who desire to change America.

One blessing of being a senior citizen is we can remember when open discussion was welcomed and America’s greatness was seldom threatened by divergent opinions.

We seniors enjoyed the freedoms afforded by our generation’s involvement in defense of this great nation along with respect for the law and our God.

If, by chance, the dipwads prevail, rest assured they will never revel in what it meant to be an American. And my sympathy and best wishes for a green government that gives a damn.
