United Healthcare alone reported profits in excess of $23 billion in 2023. Former CEO Brian Thompson’s salary for 2023 was $10.2 million. Despite taking billions from the “system” to administrate and often deny care, Thompson and company never treated a sick person and never cured anyone of anything.

Citizens of Canada, Israel, Japan, Australia, all of Europe and nearly the entire industrialized world have highly ranked health care available as a birthright. America is in the company of Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mexico, Malaysia and other third-world nations with no comprehensive public access to health care.

America, being the wealthiest nation in the world, should not have to rely on assassins or social activists like Luigi Mangione to sacrifice their freedom for change to the health care industry. It is the responsibility of voters to elect politicians who will make affordable single-payer health care available to all Americans.

Want to “make America great again”? Cut the greedy middlemen out of American health care.
