2020 has been quite the year,

Less celebration and a lot more fear,

A new enemy is among us

Invisible to the eye,

As if it literally dropped from the sky.

Covid is all around us, it is very real,

It is not a hoax, it is the real deal.

Things we once took for granted are now

Hard to find,

Like toilet paper, paper towels and

Precious family time.

So washing hands and staying 6 feet apart

Is an easy ask,

Along with always wearing a mask.

Because we can survive and see this through,

To get back to the normal we once knew.
