Letter to the editor: Another good vaccine experience

Tribune-Review

I would like to add comments to Sharon Campomizzi’s letter “Vaccination process positive” (Feb. 28, TribLIVE). My husband and I also had a good experience at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Harrison City. This clinic was sponsored by Bushy Run Pharmacy, and its employees were there volunteering.

Not only was the vaccination process very organized but registering was extremely simple. I registered in early January and 10 days later got a call giving me a password to log on to the Mainline Pharmacy website. I had a choice of four clinics, all within the following 10 days.

After selecting the location I received confirmation emails and reminder emails prior to my selected date. At the clinic we were given the date for our second shot and also received email reminders for that.

Other pharmacies are not as efficient. One had me waiting 3½ hours in an online queue, only to be told there were no appointments available. Any facility creating an online registration should use this as a guideline.
