The article “Biden’s chosen image takes a hit” (Jan. 15) by Zeke Miller demonstrates the biased nature of the Associated Press. While reporting on President Biden’s mishandling of confidential documents, Miller couldn’t help but take unnecessary swipes at President Trump with phrases such as “after the tumult of his predecessor” and “turmoil surrounding Donald Trump’s presidency, a four-year ruckus Biden has tried to move the country past.” The article even quotes President Obama inferring “crazy things” done by Trump.

While pointing a finger at Trump, a successful president he obviously dislikes, Miller attempts to lessen the seriousness of Biden’s actions. Comparing the two presidents’ actions, he infers that Trump’s were much more serious than Biden’s, even though Trump was president with full authority to declassify while Biden was only vice president and could not lawfully remove classified documents.

This article demonstrates the media’s love for liberals and dislike or even hate for conservatives.
