Letter to the editor: Are Democrats hidin' Biden?

President Trump should change his nickname for Joe Biden from “Sleepy Joe” to “Hidin’ Biden.” When he does show himself, he often cannot complete an intelligible sentence or he makes an incredible gaffe.

He seems to be showing signs of early Alzheimer’s disease. His failure to complete sentences, his clinginess to his wife, and his need to stay home could be symptoms.

And his gaffes are monumental. He has called voters names if he does not like their questions, and even challenged one to a push-up contest. In May, Biden made what many consider a racist comment when he told a Black radio host that if he didn’t vote for him, he “ain’t Black.” In August, he said Latinos are more diverse than Blacks. Sounds like another racist comment to me.

Worse than all of that is the fact Biden has formed a coalition with the socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders and the anarchist (my opinion) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to create his platform. It includes adoption of the Green New Deal, which bans fracking on all new wells (meaning ultimately banning all fracking), and “providing a road map to citizenship” for nearly 11 million illegal immigrants, which means they will be eligible for welfare, health care and even legal services paid by you.

Biden has said he will reverse all Trump’s safeguards on illegal immigration and reverse his tax cuts. I believe he will end Trump’s efforts to stop China’s taking our jobs, including almost all pharma manufacturing.

If I were a Democrat, I’d hide Biden, too.
