Letter to the editor: Are we repeating past hatred of Jews?

We are all aware of the deep-rooted hatred the Nazis had for the Jews. “Never again” was the call to never let the Holocaust happen again. If we do not learn from the misdeeds of our past, we are all doomed to repeat it. It appears that we have not learned our history. Or we are too far removed to care?

The current United States Democratic administration, under pressure from its leftist allies, is teetering way too close to the hard-line hatred of the Jews as demonstrated by the Nazis. Anti-Israeli demonstrations on many college campuses and leftist run cities are proof.

I never thought that we could equate the treatment by the Nazis of the past to our country’s current treatment of the Jews would ever happen. It’s getting there, folks.
