Letter to the editor: Ashamed by Trump's division of America

“Make America Great Again.” We’ve got the most covid-19 cases and deaths in the world. I blame President Trump.

Social distancing and more mask wearing in the beginning would have saved a lot of lives. And our economy would have opened up much sooner.

Herd stupidity has resulted from people blindly following their leader and his lies. Many of them act like they have seen God. Give Trump your wallet and your life. When the going gets tough, the tough play golf.

How corrupt a nation we have become. How selfish our people have become. You’d think people would search for the truth, but I guess they find lies more nourishing. If you’re lucky, you may get what you give in life.

I am ashamed to be an American because of the way Trump has divided this nation. He seems to have hate in his heart and thinks he is above the law and can do whatever he wants to matter who gets hurt or killed. That’s America?
