After reading the letter “What is lunatic politicians’ agenda?” (July 19, TribLive) all I can say is, where were you when President Trump pardoned terrorists who attacked police officers on Jan. 6? So it’s OK for law enforcement people to be attacked if it fits your political agenda?

I don’t agree with anybody encouraging others to attack ICE officers, but you can thank Trump for declaring it was OK to attack law enforcement by pardoning those who did.

As for the pardon power given to presidents or governors, that’s something that needs to be addressed, I don’t care which party is in power. No wonder people hate being selected to be on a jury. Spend weeks or months deciding a verdict only to have someone wipe it out with the stroke of a pen.
