Letter to the editor: Avoiding abortion

Tribune-Review

I recently have read articles stating that pro-choice politicians are stepping forward to protect legal abortion

When I was a young girl, my mother explained many things to me. The first was that going out on a date does not include sex, and she explained the reason why. You could get pregnant at a very young age and, if you have a baby and no one to help support you and the child, it is very difficult. And, if you are having sex on dates, there is the possibility of getting a serious venereal disease.

If you have an abortion, that is killing an innocent baby, and you have to live with the guilt the rest of your life. Abortions aren’t easy. They are painful.

So, young women, keep yourself clean for that special man when you are old enough to get married. My mother was a wise lady.
