I wholeheartedly endorse the reelection of Harrison Township Commissioner Eric Bengel. I worked at the township and have followed local politics very closely over the past 30 years. Bengel exemplifies honesty, fairness and thoughtfulness. His willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s concerns differs significantly from the routine political speak.
Unfortunately, local government is a place where some amateurs frequently try their hand at playing politics while imposing their own agendas and questionable biases. Bengel is the opposite of that mindset and has proven in his first term to be dedicated, practical and respectful. He has the wisdom and insight to make sensible decisions, which sets him far apart from his opponent’s techniques and talk that I believe are insincere. And, in a time of skyrocketing inflation, no tax increases during his term!
We need Eric Bengel and must show up and vote to keep him our 3rd Ward commissioner.
