To answer the letter “Happy with Biden?” (Oct. 12, TribLIVE): Yes, very much, compared to Donald Trump. Those of us who voted for President Biden believe in democracy and the Constitution, two institutions that wannabe dictator Trump attempted to overthrow.
The writer can come up with all the Fox News talking points he wants to try and diminish Biden’s time in the White House, but he had an enormous economic and pandemic mess left to him by the previous administration. Biden spearheaded the recovery from both.
Trump doesn’t belong in the White House again. He belongs in jail. This country and our democracy would crumble under another Trump occupancy.
I could list all the failures, embarrassments and corruption Trump practiced in his four years in D.C., but this page isn’t long enough to do so.
