I disagree with letter-writer Ken Barnes’ analysis of President Biden (“Joe Biden and the Peter Principle,” Aug. 12, TribLIVE). Biden has done more good than 45 could do in a lifetime of being commander in chief, which is what his ultimate goal was and is. With the help of a functional Congress, Biden could do much better, but we live with that.

Reading between the lines of your opinion, I surmise you would rather have an egotistical liar, denier and cheat who knows little or noting of the Constitution along with the rest of the cohort in Congress who fear their own electors if they disagree with him, at the highest office in the land. Now that more information is coming to light, let’s see how many more lies can be conjured.

One question for you, Mr. Barnes: Were you at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021?
