As the vindictive congressional Democrats press on with the second impeachment of President Donald Trump, one must wonder why they insist on putting Trump and the country through the agony of another trial in the Senate, a trial that serves no useful purpose and which is apparently legally questionable.
The Democrats have been pursuing Trump like wild animals that smell blood since he was elected in 2016, successfully replacing him with the election of Joe Biden in 2020; what more do they want? If Biden wants to show real leadership and wants to bring the country together as he has vowed to do, he would call off the dogs and focus on the many serious issues that face the country.
