Letter to the editor: Biden should close borders

Hey, President Biden, when are you going to get your priorities straight? You and you alone are destroying America by not closing our borders. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is a joke, and, so far, so are you.

The amount of drugs, criminals, “gotaways” and probably terrorists coming over our border has gotten beyond control. We’re seeing pictures of the hotel rooms immigrants have trashed in New York and the garbage (clothing, bottles, cans, etc.) they leave at the border. As authorities move them to a new shelter, some people say New York is wrong to try to get them out of what once was a hotel for tourists. Many immigrants come here illegally and demand to be taken care of.

Now the northern border is becoming another point of entry. This ridiculousness needs to stop yesterday. President Biden, you are turning America into the same countries some of these people are fleeing from. The sad part is, many (not all) are coming just because of the suckers in our government who are willingly giving away everything America stood for, and I don’t think it’s going to stop anytime soon as long as Biden is at the helm.

Ask yourself, do you feel safe going almost anywhere anymore?
