Letter to the editor: Biden worse than Trump?
I still haven’t picked myself up off the ground after reading the letter “Trump, Biden, DeSantis, Kennedy all bad candidates” (Aug. 22, TribLIVE). I suggest that Democrats, Republicans and independents all read this letter. And I am certain that the vast majority will have the same chilling reaction that I am still having.
The letter-writer states that Donald Trump lied about the 2020 election, and like other world tyrants Putin, Xi and Kim, Trump seems to want to keep the presidency for life. I agree with him 100%.
But then he follows that up by saying that four more years of President Biden would be worse. Really? Worse? Here’s hoping and praying that not many think like this letter-writer. Otherwise, we are no longer that “shining city on a hill.” It’s chilling, if many Americans agree with this.
Tell me, after stating the truth of how Trump lied about the 2020 election and how he seems to want to emulate his buddy Putin and try to hold the presidency for life: What has Biden done to be compared to a would-be dictator? Four years of Biden would be worse? Pathetic.
