On July 8, a news conference was held to discuss President Biden’s health and his refusal to drop out of the race. Throughout the news conference, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy raised his hand and wiggled his fingers so as to be called on by Biden’s press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre. From past experience, Jean-Pierre knows that Doocy doesn’t ask softball questions. When he was finally called on, Doocy continued to hammer her until his question was answered to his satisfaction.
Jean-Pierre is very good at evading questions from the likes of Doocy. You might say she is Biden’s attack dog. And often when she has had her fill of reporters’ questions, she abruptly turns and walks out.
