CNN host and Trib columnist S.E. Cupp slams Donald Trump, saying, “Chaos follows him everywhere” (“De Niro isn’t voice voters should hear from,” May 31, TribLive). If creating chaos is one of Cupp’s measures of poor presidential leadership, how chaotic are President Biden’s unsecure southern and northern borders, allowing millions of immigrants to pour unvetted into the country? How chaotic is the heavy flow of illegal and deadly fentanyl that has caused misery and even death to many young people? How chaotic are many of the cities and their citizens that do not have the resources to support the immigrants?

How chaotic was Biden’s untimely and disastrous exit from Afghanistan that he was advised by senior military officers not to do and in which 13 young soldiers were needlessly killed? How chaotic was leaving behind military equipment worth billions to our enemies so Biden could boast about withdrawing the U.S. from Afghanistan?

This is what chaos is. This is what poor presidential leadership is.

Cupp and the army of journalists who hate Trump will rail on about creating chaos and other Trump shortcomings, but voters were much better off from 2016 to 2020 than in the chaotic 2020-24 period overseen by Biden.
