During his campaign in 2020, President Biden and his Democratic colleagues declared that the wealth gap in America was a significant issue which needed to be addressed. And addressed it was.

Reckless government spending stoked the flames of inflation, leading to higher interest rates and the inevitable, precipitous drop in the stock market. Individuals invested in the market have lost billions of dollars. As a result, they are less wealthy and hence the goal of narrowing the wealth gap has been achieved. Unfortunately, this solution did not raise up individuals struggling to make ends meet. Nevertheless, this is a campaign promise fulfilled.

Why are the president and the Democratic Congress not touting this major success fueled directly by their policies? Why is the liberal media also silent on this campaign promise fulfilled?
