I am a “no party affiliated” registered voter in Westmoreland County. While I do lean to the left of the aisle, I have voted for Republicans before — Tim Krieger, Bob Regola and even Justin Walsh once. But I cannot bring myself to vote for Guy Reschenthaler as representative for the 14th Congressional District. I feel he has done nothing but disparage and bully people like me, and we do not need any more of that in government.

Bill Marx seems to be a middle-of-the-road kind of guy and just the right person we need in this area. I believe he will listen to all of us, regardless of our political leanings, and he will not demean us for our beliefs. He has an independent mindset, and that is exactly what we need. He will fight for us, the people of this little district, every time he goes to Washington, D.C.

I am proud to support Marx to represent all of the people who live here, not just those he deems “worthy” of his political beliefs.
