Letter to the editor: BLM, antifa treasonous radicals

We, the American people, are having war waged upon us by groups that are intent on replacing capitalism with communism while the American news media downplays and even quietly encourages the treasonous actions of these groups. In 2015 Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder Patrisse Cullors said that she and her cohorts are “trained Marxists.”

On June 24 of this year, Greater New York Black Lives Matter president Hawk Newsome said, “if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right? And I could be speaking … figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.”

Black Lives Matter is seeking to transform America by defunding the police, dismantling capitalism, “destroying the patriarchy,” breaking down the nuclear family unit, emptying prisons and redistributing wealth in the form of reparations, among other far left objectives.

A precursor to the modern antifa movement, with groups in nearly every state, is the former American League Against War and Fascism, established in 1933 by the Communist Party USA. The league, which claimed to oppose fascism in Europe, was actually dedicated to subverting and overthrowing the U.S. government. In testimony to the U.S. Congress in 1953, CPUSA leader Manning Johnson revealed that the American party had been instructed by the Communist International Party in the 1930s to set up the American League Against War and Fascism.

May almighty God continue to strengthen President Trump as he stands between these Marxist radicals and our blessed nation.
