Letter to the editor: Booing Trump at Ginsburg's casket classless
Shame on people who booed the president when he and his wife came to pay respects to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. People booing while they stood by her draped coffin was a low, no-class act, and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Demonstrators booed and chanted for him to honor Ginsburg’s dying wish of no replacement till after the election. The demonstration was out of place as her body lie in state.
Nothing states that one should not named to the Supreme Court within a certain number of days before an election. If her wish was no replacement to the court for five years, would we follow that wish? The president has the right to choose or not choose to make a replacement before an election.
The duties for filling a position on the Supreme Court include being honest and voting. If the citizens cannot accept the outcome of the vote as being fair, then obviously we must think the Supreme Court is a corrupt system. We need to trust those serving who are confirmed and believe they are being fair as they fulfill their duties.
