Why are Washington lawmakers so aghast at the occurrences of Jan. 6? Beginning in May 2020, maybe sooner, they let unrest happen all over the United States. Then it came to their doorstep.
This unrest proved how vulnerable the Capitol building is, but lawmakers had tunnels to escape reality.
The truth is rarely heard in Washington. Both sides of the aisle need to own up to the disaster they created over the last 20 years and counting. When one side calls the other side a liar, the finger comes pointing right back to you.
