During this pandemic, we all feel helpless. What can we do to help bring back our economy? My suggestion is to buy American. As we venture out to look for a new car, we should consider an American model. There are many to choose from — Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac.

Remember the prosperity the American auto manufacturers shared during the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s? We can bring that back. If we all bought American cars, jobs would come back. New plants would open. Remember, even though some foreign cars may be built in the United States, their profits go back overseas.

Let’s keep those profits at home and secure good manufacturing jobs for the future.
