On Sept. 11, Irwin had a nice celebration on Main Street with bands and many food trucks. My wife and I attended and had a very good time. The next morning, we woke to a real shock.
There’s a “We Support Our Local Police” sign on our yard, which we received after donating to a local charity. We woke up Sept. 12 to find that some anti-police moron had set my sign on fire. Half of it was destoyed.
I am at a loss as to what someone would get out of doing this wanton destruction of someone’s property. My suggestion to others who have these yard signs is to keep an eye out and make sure no lowlifes destroy their signs.
