Letter to the editor: Can’t fix stupid, but you can prove it

I am compelled to respond to Steve Ignatz’s letter "Can't fix stupid” (Nov. 26, TribLIVE). In typical Republican form, he follows the Fox News playbook to the letter (by the way, you left out “wokeism”). He has the audacity to call other people stupid and uneducated, when his opinions are based on misinformation most likely provided by ex-CNN errand boy Tucker Carlson or Lego Batman head model Sean Hannity. Maybe he should impart these pearls of wisdom on the group at his next Mensa meeting.

Pennsylvania is not the laughingstock of the country, but will be if they read his letter. “You can’t fix stupid” is not just a saying, it’s a fact. He proved that when he wrote his letter. If it is any consolation, his letter was only the second dumbest published that day. See “Grateful for Mastriano” (Nov. 26, TribLIVE) from Gina Rudiselle.

I don’t know why I’ve wasted my time responding to these people because, well … you know!
