I thought your front-page article “Westmoreland pharmacist ‘absolutely’ wants to play bigger role in doling out covid vaccine” (Feb. 22, TribLIVE) was well written. Ed Christofano, owner of Hayden’s Pharmacy, is a gentleman that has stepped up to the plate and hit a home run for Southwestern Pennsylvania, which has been forgotten since our county has no health department.

Hats off to him and his staff. Very few doctors or pharmacists make house calls anymore.
