I want to take a moment to recognize our coroner, Tim Carson, for the incredible work he’s doing in our community — because it truly goes far beyond what most expect from that role.
Tim has shown exceptional compassion and community leadership through initiatives like Operation Dignity, which honored 15 unclaimed veterans with the respect they earned. In a time when so many are forgotten, he made sure their service was not.
He’s also stepping up for our littlest ones with Cribs for Kids, making sure families have safe sleep options and the education to help prevent infant loss. It’s the kind of proactive care that saves lives before tragedy ever strikes.
And when tragedy does happen, his support doesn’t stop at the investigation. Through the LOSS Team, Tim ensures families affected by suicide aren’t left to grieve alone. He provides resources, support and a compassionate ear — exactly what’s needed in those darkest moments.
He doesn’t just do the job — he lives the mission. Tim Carson shows up with integrity, empathy and action. And that’s exactly the kind of leadership I want in our community.
That’s why I’ll proudly be voting for Tim Carson in the May 20 primary. He’s earned it.
