On July 2, Eric Davanzo voted “no” on HB 2269, which established and codified same-sex marriage into state law. Thankfully it passed the House 133-68, with 32 Republicans voting “yes.” The bill highlights are as follows:

• Defines “marriage” as a civil contract between two individuals, instead of between one man and one woman.

• Repeals a clause that stated that same-sex marriage entered in another state or a foreign jurisdiction is void in Pennsylvania.

Cherri Rogers is running against Eric Davanzo. She will represent everyone. It’s past time for our state representatives to care about everyone. I don’t believe Davanzo is in office for you but rather is there to garnish power and pass judgment on others.

Rogers says it best, “All neighbors in House District 58 deserve someone who listens to them.” District 58, you deserve better! Vote for Cherri Rogers.
