I am a 75-year-old, 20-year resident of Lower Burrell, and have lived in the Allegheny-Kiski Valley for 70 years. I pay my taxes every year and I vote every year to elect whoever I think will do the best job.

That is why I feel every police force in our area should be left alone. They are the very best at what they do. Of course, there will always be those who violate their position as in every other profession, but most professions do not have the pressure or attention our police must operate under.

The police force in Lower Burrell, in my opinion, is very professional, and they will always have my deepest respect, as will the police in New Kensington, Arnold, Upper Burrell, Tarentum, Natrona Heights, Frazer, Creighton, Freeport, Leechburg and Vandergrift.

Do not let the media or a group of idiots try to change the way our law enforcement officers protect our citizens and properties. Thanks again to all police officers for a job well done and keep in mind that we citizens will always have your backs.
