To those readers who are media bias deniers, I have two questions:

When President Trump recently referred to “Black jobs,” it was widely covered by media and demonized. When President Biden recently could not remember Lloyd Austin’s name, he simply said that he appointed “a Black man” as Defense secretary. What did you hear from the media? Crickets!

When Trump was seen without a mask after having contracted covid, the media covered him as an uncaring super-spreader. When Biden recently contracted covid and was seen entering and exiting Air Force One without a mask and later was shown in a limousine without a mask in close proximity to Secret Service agents, what did you hear from the media? Crickets!

Whether you want to admit it or not, media bias does exist. The days of Walter Cronkite and Chet Huntley have been replaced by a media without any professional reporting qualities who feel the need to add their slant to the story. The media need to be held accountable to be fair, accurate and nonbiased in their coverage of events.
