Letter to the editor: Climate-change hogwash

Tribune-Review

One of the greatest scientific achievements ever was putting a man on the moon and returning him safely home. Settled science made it possible. On the other side of the coin, so-called scientists claim they can predict weather events years in the future based on computer models they call “settled science.” They claim these weather events will be catastrophic to the planet unless man alters his current way of living — to which I say, hogwash!

The arrogance of man is appalling, believing we can destroy God’s creation by availing ourselves of the resources he provided to advance the human condition. The planet has withstood violent volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, hurricanes, flooding, forest fires, tsunamis and other catastrophic events, and it keeps on ticking. These events, by the way, are the result of the planet continually healing itself under the guidance of the hand of the creator.

If climate change is so important, I suggest the following: A worldwide television event, a debate if you will. Let’s have the three leading “global warming” scientists present their scientific data that proves man is the cause of their climate-change fantasy and the pending catastrophic results. On the other side, three of the leading experts to refute the argument.

Would the computer model scientists agree? I don’t think so.
