It’s amazing what you learn as you get up in age. It seems that many years of education were wasted. I thought rules were to be followed by everyone equally, and insuring integrity was important.

I guess that is applied to alcohol and tobacco purchases in many places and definitely antlerless license applications. Try to purchase alcohol or tobacco in Virginia without a photo ID — won’t happen, but you can vote. Make an error on your antlerless application and it will be denied, but your vote will count.

My priorities just got scrambled in my 55 years of voting and 65 years of hunting. The former items are not a big purchase for me but I will still double-check my license application to keep it valid. Maybe we should turn the voting over to private sales or the Game Commission.

After four years of ridiculous harrassment, the Democrats want us to be nice and accept their policies. Sorry, I don’t deal well with hypocrites. God willing we will still be here after these disasters (pandemic and election) and continue forward with new knowledge.
