Concerned about Franklin Regional School District’s financial future?

Yes!

Are we to become another Penn Hills?

For more than two years, the public has requested a 10-year cash flow plan that gives visibility to the district’s financial future. First, we stood at the meeting podium and made numerous requests with no responses. Requests made at numerous finance committee meetings also received no responses.

At the school board committee of the whole meeting June 1, there was success but failure: Success in that after two years, the public received a public statement; failure in that the school board president stated on June 1 that there would not be a 10-year financial plan.

You can view this for yourself. Look for public comments near the beginning of the meeting at youtube.com/user/FranklinRegionalSD.

Will we ever get a 10-year look-ahead as to where we are going financially from the school district?

Concerned about Franklin Regional School District’s financial future?

Yes!

Aren’t you concerned?
