Letter to the editor: Confusion and inflation from Democrats

Joe Biden looked us in the eye through his aviator sunglasses and said: “I’m gonna raise your taxes.”

Inflation is at a 40-year high. Inflation is a tax. Groceries that cost $35 last year now cost $75, and a barrel of gasoline that cost $60 last year now costs $100.

Democrats say they support working people. Yet Democrats take money out of your pocket, gas out of your car and food off your table.

Forty percent of the money that was ever printed by the U.S. Treasury was printed in the past year. Last years’ $1,400 stimulus just compounded your misery. Kamala Harris would giggle and say “just Google it.”

Covid test kits soon in your mailbox paid by “we the people” have an expiration date of July with the virus in steep decline.

Now we are incrementally engaging in a war in Eastern Europe. Democrats will soon be telling you to “invest” your sons and daughters.

Biden’s demonized predecessor never stumbled us into a war, nor left our people and billions of dollars on the battlefield.

Democrats created an illusion of moderation but gave us confusion, inflation and demoralization.

Ask not what your country can do for you, but rather ask, where’s my check?
