I would like to publicly thank the Norwin Lady Knights for providing myself and other fans and supporters the thrills and excitement of tremendous high school basketball. It’s heartbreaking that their season ended two games early after the loss to a very good Spring-Ford team.

Life seems unfair; the Lady Knights deserve to experience the joy of being the first Norwin basketball state champions (girls and boys) since the Norwin School District was formed in 1958. These awesome young ladies played with passion and hard work, and displayed great love and respect for each other and their coaches. They were emotional after losing to Spring-Ford; many were crying, which is good and honorable. You will never accomplish anything if you do not hate to lose.

Winning the WPIAL championship is a tremendous accomplishment by the Lady Knights. I will cherish that particular championship shirt forever when I receive it.

Thank you, ladies, from the bottom of my heart. God bless all of you.
