I could only laugh at how some “environmental warriors” can’t let a good crisis go to waste, especially letter-writer Hana Koob (“We need candidates who respect science,” April 16, TribLIVE). Funny how some have to proclaim their view of science (without providing any firm basis or reference) is the only correct view, that any other view is irresponsible, and then loosely tie that narrative with their real agenda: global warming.

First of all, to say President Trump must “be held accountable for the damage that has been inflicted by covid-19” while failing to mention the collusion between the Chinese government and the World Health Organization to cover up the severity of the virus and delay preventative actions by other countries is ultra-political driven. Such bias and turning a blind eye toward this fact is what’s really concerning here.

What’s really irresponsible here is your bias and contempt for our president.
