Letter to the editor: Continued promotion of 'Big Lie' astounding

Tribune-Review

I read the letter “Democrats’ ‘whatever it takes’ pattern” (Feb. 12, TribLive) and found it necessary to respond. The unwavering pattern of continued promotion of the Trump “Big Lie” astounds me.

The letter cites an alleged poll by Heartland/Rasmussen where its poll results show overwhelming admissions by pollsters of voter fraud. Just so readers know, the Heartland Institute is an American conservative and libertarian public policy think tank known for its rejection of both the scientific consensus on climate change and the negative health impacts of smoking. The alleged poll provided no statistical data such as the number of participants, how the participants were chosen and how the data was summarized.

Factor that in when you consider the credibility of the organization, and the validity of any poll they may do or sponsor. And smoke ’em if ya got ’em?
