Our fellow citizens of faith were not permitted to worship God in their place of worship because of a social distancing edict being reinforced to control a pandemic virus. In some cases, in states and cities run by progressives (i.e., Democrats), law enforcement monitored and cited those who dared to exercise their constitutional freedom of religion.

Lately we have the civil disobedient gathering en masse, many destroying public and private property, and again in states and cities run by progressives (i.e., Democrats). Control of the virus, though, seems to no longer be considered relevant because the disobedient are exercising their constitutional freedom of assembly.

One conclusion is certain: Those illiberal among us will blame the president for both.
