I heard it again at the grocery store, the loud boastful, “If I get it, I get it,” as if to say “I don’t need to take any precautions.”
Yes, you are young and healthy and most likely would survive the virus. But no, this is not just about you. This is about all of the other people who are not so young or not so healthy that you might carry the virus to. This is about all the health care workers and hospitals that will be overwhelmed with really sick patients when you spread the virus.
This isn’t about just you, it’s about all of us together watching out for each other. Please take precautions!
