On Aug. 5, the president said that if he had not acted as fast as he did against the virus, we could have had 1 million deaths. How can he make this statement? He waited almost one month to take action, saying it would go away when it warms up in April. He also said we shouldn’t worry, it is not as serious as the flu.

It seems that besides lying, his main theme is deny, deny, detract. The president says that we are getting this virus under control. The United States is 4.25% of the world’s population. We have 25% of the world’s coronavirus cases and deaths. If this is control, we are in worse trouble than predicted.
