As a lifelong business person with international experience, it is my opinion that people need to understand that the covid-19 lockdowns being imposed, mostly in Democrat-controlled states and cities, are a preview of the kind of society America will become under national Democratic governance.

The history of every country taken over by socialists/communists/fascists is the same. Russia, China, Cuba and Venezuela are examples. Some were taken over by force, others by promises of “equal justice, economic fairness and redistribution of wealth.” These ideas are an easy sell to the masses, but the results, in every case, are far different.

In the U.S., I believe Democrats are using the virus to impose total control over our society. But with government control comes loss of personal freedom, including religious freedom and the right to pursue one’s own path to happiness. Instead, the government becomes not only the caretaker, but it becomes God. It substitutes itself for religion, the head of the family and the provider of life.

Leaders are closing our schools and private businesses in the name of safety. But they themselves seem to be exempt from their own mandates. Witness the suffering in Democrat-controlled states, including Pennsylvania.

Prepare for a long, dark future under Joe Biden. 2024 cannot come soon enough.
