I used to have a good time on East Carson Street a few years ago, but lately the crime has been ridiculous. After reading the article “Man in critical condition following double shooting on Pittsburgh’s South Side” (Nov. 26, TribLIVE), I fear for the safety of those who just want to enjoy a night of fun.
A double shooting left a man in critical condition while another woman had a gunshot wound in her back. Even the police vehicles responding to the call were involved in a crash.
Some people are just trying to have a fun night and make it back home safely. These shootings are leaving people traumatized. Something needs to be done soon to ensure those on the South Side are safe.
